Research into title sequences with my individual analysis.

This opening titled sequences gives the impression that the film is going to be a similar genre to our film, a psychological thriller with a glimpse of horror, i get this impression because of the flickering
 of the titles and the fast pace of the flicker and jolts before fading into different scenes, the pace of this differs throughout the sequence moving from fast to slow on the cuts.The gruesome images and dirty fingernails and plasters on his fingers also back my opinion up that the main character is going to be mentally unstable, the sound from the film also backs my opinion up because that too jolts and screaches at a fast pace and gives an uncertainty to the audience as what this character is up to.
There is stereotypical actions in this which indicates that it is an horror/thriller, the screen filters red which is a sign of blood and danger, he also scribbles out eyes and faces on pictures with a black pen, this shows the audience that he is a dangerous and dark character.
The openeing sequence is all close ups of his actions, for example sticking and cutting images, drawing, marking over words. This gives the audience an idea of what to expect from the film and makes them want to find out what he is up to.
